Our client, a 60-year-old clergy member, is currently serving his fourth year of a fifteen-year prison sentence for the alleged statutory rape of two church members.
 
We didn't represent him at trial.
 
During that trial, the judge didn't allow his original attorney to call an expert to counter the claims made by the DA's expert. The judge's refusal to allow a defense expert dramatically and unjustly tilted the odds in the DA's favor.
 
We are representing our client on appeal to overturn his unjust conviction.
 
Vinoo argued the appeal virtually before the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department.
